It was gold for one, and sheer Olympic glory for 12 others, as U.S. military athletes took on the world. By Aug. 14, nine of the 13 Army and Air Force Olympians had taken their gold-medal shots. Four more will compete before the games conclude Aug. 21.
How they’ve fared so far: There was only one female and she didn’t medal. They didn’t say whether she was a soldier or an airwoman though:

I am a female Marine currently in the Individual Ready Reserve. I like to sleep, travel, read, eat, explore, and take photographs. I read lots of news and I like reading about life in other countries. I am easily amused and my dream job is to be snoozing in a warm patch of sunlight, hopefully with a piece of tasty cheese nearby for when I wake up hungry.

She is in the Army Reserves. I want to say I remember hearing about her when I was in. But I did a google search to be sure.
