I’ve been going through and relabeling all my old blog posts, starting from the very beginning and working my way forward, so both readers and me can find what they want faster. It’s very tedious and very hilarious at the same time. More posts than I can count have reminded me of events or people I had completely forgotten about!
I’m near the end of the my Iraq deployment posts and they made me a bit sad. They were all so FUNNY! Anybody been reading long enough to remember the time we stole an AAV in the middle of the night, the mouse that was almost too cute to kill, the Combat Pizza we won from a bet, the Snoopy Snowglobe my family mailed me, the slipping-and-falling-down stories, or the guy who laughed like the Count on Sesame Street?
I miss being able to write about all the funny stuff that happens every day without having to worry about whether the stories would get me punished.
And I miss being in Iraq! That was probably the best time I’ve had so far in the Marine Corps…
I am a female Marine currently in the Individual Ready Reserve. I like to sleep, travel, read, eat, explore, and take photographs. I read lots of news and I like reading about life in other countries. I am easily amused and my dream job is to be snoozing in a warm patch of sunlight, hopefully with a piece of tasty cheese nearby for when I wake up hungry.
