A new person asked me the question the other day I absolutely hate being asked by new people. When somebody asks it, I usually know from that point on we won’t be bestest buddies forever.
It tends to come after a series of small talk questions or after the new person has embarked on a long one-sided conversation:
“You don’t talk much, do you?”
It’s hard for them to recover from because most of the time they just KEEP ON TALKING, as if by pointing out that I’m not talkative, I’ll magically become a talking machine. It’s especially annoying when they insist that I WILL talk to them. Apparently they are special enough that I will magically be talkative around them.
Now I forgot what else was bothering me.
I am a female Marine currently in the Individual Ready Reserve. I like to sleep, travel, read, eat, explore, and take photographs. I read lots of news and I like reading about life in other countries. I am easily amused and my dream job is to be snoozing in a warm patch of sunlight, hopefully with a piece of tasty cheese nearby for when I wake up hungry.

Hah, you sound like my wife, if she doesn’t feel like talking, she’s a clam. I just let her go till she feels like talking again. Her hair was pink and blue and she replaced the pink with green. I’ll show her the comment when I get home:)
I liked how your comments worked before when they opened on the same page. They are opening in a new window again.
Blogger changed the coding behind the pages and I couldn’t get the comments to work that way.
